If I could rewrite Canadian history, what would I change?

If I could change Canadian history I would change the residential schools because what happened was not right. By us taking the First Nation people away from their family and culture and abusing them makes our relationship with the First Nation people very poor. I would let the First Nation people live how they want and also I would let them have power in the Government.
