8th Fire - Skin Deep

The video skin deep spoke to me because I feel like no one should feel insecure about what colour their skin is. It shouldn’t matter what you look like, nobody should feel like they do not belong in their culture or where they live because they look different. In this story a girl felt like she did not belong and got picked on because she lived in a first nations community, but she had blue eyes, porcelain skin, and blond hair. It said that some people asked if she even belonged there and I felt like that was mean.
