I think that this image is trying to tell us that there are a lot of different kinds of families, and that it shouldn’t matter, a family is a family. It is pointing out that anyone can have a family, or raise children, and that it’s not just heterosexual couples that can have kids. It is opposing the stereotypical picture of a family we have in our heads, and showing us that so many kinds of families can, and do exist.
