During this summer (2016), Prince Harry went to Malawi for 3 weeks to work with elephants. He went with African Parks as part of an initiative involving moving some 500 elephants over 350 kilometers (220 miles) across Malawi to replenish elephant stocks in Nkhotakota Wildlife Reserve. He went to work in Malawi to protect animals in danger of death from overcrowding and starvation.
They worked with care and respect for the elephants. Male elephants were tagged with animal friendly paint, so that they wouldn’t get split up from their families.
